Histoire et épistémologie de l’Information-Documentation, Suzanne Briet et évolutions de la documentation

The purpose of this paper is to clarify and then to mark the historical and epistemological passage from the concept of document to that of documentation. Also, the paper highlights the current characteristics of Information-Documentation in the context of training-learning. The paper consists of four parts: elements of the biography of the concept of Documentation ; innovative ideas in a reference publication What is Documentation? ; movement and development of knowledge in our current works ; a professional activity specialized in Information, in Pedagogy and its didactics Information-Documentation.
